Try and get some concept of size so that if you have a small bathroom you have a good ideas and look at designs that will work well in your space.



Try and workout an optimal layout for your new bathroom and if you have more then one then make a not of all of those so those ideas can all feed into your final idea later.



Of course dont forget to consider the budget and think about how flexible you want to be with it.



Its better to work out a figure that you dont want top go above and stick to it otherwise the cost of the bathroom design will creep up and up as new ideas pop into your head.
